Between 2024 and 2026, the Alexander Natishvili Institute of Morphology significantly strengthened its technological infrastructure for modern biomedical research.
During this period, a major upgrade of the research infrastructure was completed, new laboratories were established, and a Molecular Pathology Research Center was created. In parallel, the use of advanced biomedical technologies was expanded across both research and educational activities.
The Institute’s current research and diagnostic profile encompasses molecular and digital pathology, electron microscopy, tissue culture, nanotechnology, and clinical-pathological diagnostics.
The development of research infrastructure is part of the Institute’s long-term strategy to establish a national research hub for modern biomedical research and translational medicine.
