Nino Javakhishvili Prize and Medal

The Academician Nino Javakhishvili Prize and Medal were established to recognize outstanding scientific achievements in the morphological sciences and significant contributions to the development of the field.

Academician Nino Javakhishvili Medal

The Academician Nino Javakhishvili Medal is awarded to a citizen of Georgia or a foreign country who has made an exceptional and significant contribution to the development of the morphological sciences.

The Medal may also be awarded in recognition of outstanding activities related to the development, promotion, and advancement of the morphological sciences.

The Medal represents recognition of professional and scientific merit and highlights the achievements of individuals whose work has had a significant impact on the development of the morphological sciences.

Academician Nino Javakhishvili Prize

The Academician Nino Javakhishvili Prize is awarded to an author or a group of authors for a scientific work or a series of works of high scientific value in the field of morphological sciences.

A work or series of works published within the last three years may be nominated for the Prize if distinguished by:

  • relevance;
  • scientific novelty;
  • high scientific value;
  • a significant contribution to the development of the morphological sciences.

The Prize aims to encourage high-quality scientific research and to recognize works that make a significant contribution to the development of the morphological sciences.
